Hey guys, I've been teasing my 8 weeks old bmc/pit mix with a hog hide and naturally she's biting and going after it. I've been doing that for the last week or so. Yesterday i introduced her to a small piglet, about 5 lbs. She looked at it, sniffed and started barking! She walks off, i get her to come back and she barks some more at it, getting low on her front paws barking!
My question to you guy is, Is this too early for her to start, will she burn out fast?
P.S. This made me very proud!!! LOL

I don't think she will burn out fast but as soon as she starts.loosin interest take her away from them don't let her get bored with it. Pups attention span is very short so give her enough time to let her have fun but keep her wanting more.

you should be fine! i started a pup that was pit/cur mix at 8 weeks the most important thing is time. dont go out there every day and let her bay eventually she will get bored! just like us we get bored going to school or work but once or twice a week is good just dont let her catch too long that can really mess up her teeth, anyways sounds like shes in the right direction!
