Charles I agree with your sinking ship analogy, and no I don't think we should be sunk by illegals. But then again your grouping all illegals into one group. I think a larger portion of illegals are harder working, and better ppl then they are ever given credit for. That's not to say there's not a bunch of pos illegals as well, but as whole I'd better there's a lot more good than bad. I would be willing to say there's at least 4 times more deadweight legal "Americans" sinking this ship than there are illegals. So if we're throwing ppl overboard how about tossing all of the culls no matter what citizenship status they are overboard first.
j prince, i think i said that, but if not. that is what i meant to say. i dont care if your white, black asian, hispanic, legal or illegal. if you dead weight, then its time to cut bait. now as far as your theory of starting over, who will administer the tests, who will deem payment amount, are to allow the rich to administer the test and make up a price for entry? if we are to start over, then its every swinging richard, not just the poor or middle class, but ALL.

When people came to this country they left to there homeland to come here an raw and wild country inhabited by some of my ancestors Native Americans. That was a very different time and this was a very different place. Today we are an established powerful country with the BEST system on the planet. We built this system with hard work and a grind it out attitude. Mexico has the resources to sustain and flourish if there people would apply that effort to there country. We have neither the resources or space to allow the amount of people who want to come here for a better life, sad but true. So there are 2 choices on the table. 1- Allow the trend of illegal immigration to continue and watch what happens when we become over burdened and over populated to the point of collapse or 2 - Abide by the guidelines set out in our immigration policies and force those who want to come here to go through the process. Not everyone who want's a better life will get here, when they don't they will be forced to make they change they desire in there own land.

I like hard workers period.I feel like puking when a grown man fakes out sick because he's a wuss. I can respect a good portion of the mexicans i've worked with; which is alot because i'm a roofer. I treat em like men when they act like men.I can only speak for the building trades when I say they don't work cheap. I havent found one yet that will work for minimum wage they are ambitious honest hard workers or losers. They dont have to pay for er visits. they dont charge em alot when arrested because they can skip out anyway. no taxes but sales tax. They are not american citizens. yet recieve the same benefits and more. they tell me stories all the time about geting out of jail because ins wont come get em and the cops know they wont show for court because the cops dont have their true identity.I tell some of the boys i work with that i wish i was an illegal mexican instead of a white boy citizen. all the benefits with none of the responsibility. no draft, you have a crew of guys and do construction work and something goes wrong you just get in your truck and leave. I have to get fined by osha, I get sued, i get arrested for suspended drivers license i get charged and convicted. if i get a ticket i have to pay it. I am required to serve on jury duty. I pay taxes and get audited. I like em but  its not fair a citizen has all the responsibility. and non citizens get all the benefits. the ones i know are scared to death to go home because of the cartels. If we sent them home all at once maybe they would be a big enough group to reform their own country. I think most the upright ones are here thats why the cartels are so bad. Why do they get to just run away from their countrys problems The fact is theirs sucks because they run from tyrants instead of fighting it. Their children feel very little loyalty to the usa because the illigals  don't honor our basic principals of law and duty. Every american has the duty to resist tyranny with their life if necessary and they get to partake of our freedom because we are willing to pay the price for it. Go home you illegals and defend liberty in your own nations put all your inginuity and hard work into your own country the way we did in ours. I dare you to go into a health dept or social service building and see what races are in there. law, civic duty, and culture mean everything. throw away your mex flags if you wont stay home and die for it. Why fly the crappin thing when your here cause your country sucks. go home and revolt or leave your worthless language and culture at the border and especially your cowardly mex flag you like to fly every where. there are enough illegals gathered here with enough money and stolen educations from the us citizens to change mexico to a beautiful piece of dirt and cactus. You may die but you will respect yourself if you dont run away from tyrants. Go home, your country needs you more than the socialist politicians in this country do. El poncho villa would die before he would run away to a chicken plant in america to hide from his problems. god bless mexico with all its rightful citizens back in it.

I agree...if guns were legal in Mexico...a civil war would already be in progress...but only the outlaws have the weapons at this time...

Waylon you are right we do have a system and we should follow it. I agree with that, but I do think the system could use some refining.

As far as Mexico having all the capability to flourish I have to disagree. There's no way to flourish under their government, it's just not possible with the cartels running everything. If the US was to intervene as we have in the middle east and helped Mexico rebuild and end all the corruption then yes they really could flourish. And I believe most Mexicans that come over here would rather stay in Mexico if this sort of change was to happen.

THE MEX FLAG IS TRASH. IF OUR BRAVE CITIZENS HAD RAN INSTEAD OF FIGHTING FOR LIBERTY.... JUST IMAGINE IF BARAK DECIDED TO BE DICTATOR FOR LIFE AND I DECIDED TO RUN TO CANADA INSTEAD OF RESISTING HIM. THEN DROVE ALL OVER CANADA WITH THE STARS AND STRIPES COVERING MY WHOLE BACK GLASS. DEMANDING VOTING RIGHTS AND FREE HEALTH CARE THE US FLAG WOULD BE AS WORTHLESS TO ME AS YOUR UGLY FLAG. BRAVE MEN HAVE BEEN DIEING FOR OUR FLAG AND LAWS AND CULTURE FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS. hOW DARE YOU FLY THAT PIECE OF...#@!%*** IN ITS PRESENCE.THE HISPANICS THAT ARE CITIZENS EARNED IT AND WILL PAY WITH THEIR BLOOD TO DEFEND IT AND THEIR TAXES And their civic dutys.

brother I don't drink and drive.  Wink and sadly my tequila night won't be happening either. Just got a call from Exxon Mobil refinery from down my way. Apparently everyone loves Mexican cuisine so I have to cook for 300 people tomorrow. If I didn't have to do that it'd be on lol.

I still can't understand how you can defend someone that openly breaks the laws that are in place? Sure they want a better life ****** earn it. If they want to be here so badly go through the process to prove you want to be here, don't just show up and expect to get the same benefits as people that have worked for it. Ive known several legal immigrants and they were Pissed about the situation as well why because they did go through the steps to make it here and provide a better life for themselves and they have to compete with someone that ignored the law.
