Hello Ladies and Gents,
I have several well bred Plott pups from 7-9 months old. I was going to coon hunt them, but they are so gritty that I think they would be a better fit for hogs. They saw shoats in the pen as young pups only one time and I went in for surgery and have been out unti now. I am seeking yall's advice on the best way to start them now as they are going to be a year old in a few months. Am I too late? Anything you can tell me about starting them and getting them going would be most apprciated. Thanks for your time!

Ive got a dog over 2 that I started just a few weeks ago. You have plenty of time to start them, just get em in the woods they are still pups.

definately not too late.......its better to let them mature before you start them anyway.  Most people start pups too young.  Better to start them later than start them too soon.  Hope they turn out well for you.
