my gyp came into her first heat at ten months old in january , not bleeding anymore or swelling , took her out two nights ago and all the males were on her like flies ! its been three months , whats the deal

Just look at your males. If she is in heat the males are easier to spot That is how I know when a female is coming in. My males go crazy and annoy me. I see they are ready for action so I start lifting tails to see which females are coming into heat. I did have a gyp have her first heat and stayed in heat over a month so we went to the vet and got some med to end it. But she was still bleeding. She has normal heat cycles now. But they can have hormone issues.

False 7 days coming in, next 7 is when she can be bred, last 7 coming out of heat.

Best day to breed according to vet is the ninth day from first day of spotting just bred two of my dogs

The gyp might constantly produce pheromones that make the males think she is in heat all the time. We had a bear hound growing up that had this and it was a pain in the butt, we had the gyp fixed and the problem was solved.
