Went out last night to the river with Jay and Zach for a quick hunt.  Wasnt hunting long at all when Rowdy and Elroy rigged from the truck, and got on a runner - ended up catching a decent boar close to a mile away.   Loaded up everyone to try it again the dogs rigged a couple more times but ended up coming back to the truck.  Finally the dogs rigged and shut one down about 600 yards, got close to the bay, and the bulldog hung up in a mesquite and the hog broke about 150 yards, Rowdy and catch put the teeth on him got him stopped and the bulldogs caught up and sealed the deal.  Decided to call it a night, Garmins were dead and we ran out of batterys - but in all - it was a good hunt, dogs did well.  Had one of Zachs pups on the ground and he did great for a first timer.

a couple are walker - catahoula crossed,  Zach has a trigg cross,  mountain curs are the only thing I run, my dog Rowdy is the red and white bob tailed dog.    And I live in Lovington, my buddy lives in Hobbs.
