New to the board and new to the sport of hog hunting. I have two curs, starting them in the bay pen. Would like any hints, help, or tips anyone is willing to give me.  Waylon has already given me a lot of help. Cant say thanks enough for that.  I'm from Southeast Kansas. My e-mai is gates103@hotmail.com.  Text me at 620-215-0487. Appreciate any help I can get. Happy Easter!

where you hunt at in ks? i thought ks wd made illegal to hunt feral hogs, or atleast in 2010 it was. the ft riley wildlife management dept wanted to put hogs on filey and i was told that lawrence ks has hogs all over it. if i can get ahold of him, there is a guy in sw mo, took me 4 hrs to get there from riley. he hunts ok and mo. he doesnt mind helping folks out.

Plenty of hogs in Kansas, but several big ranches around here that don't want them. And Kansas Dept of Wild and Parks says there are no hogs here.

Just wondering how many times a day or week I should work my dogs in the bay pen? Before I try a mock hunt? I really don't know what I'm doing here.  I have a friend in texas that is trying to help me out, his team just won a hunt.  Don't mean to sound stupid, but thats the case.
