Me, Caleb, and Niki meet up Chance, in strawn, to go hit a food plot that a few hogs been hittin. Head to the food plot and drop the dog just as the sun is setting, tryin to catch them coming in. Dogs are on the ground for about 45 seconds and Caleb's dog sledge strike about two hundred yards out just off the road. Other dogs get to him shortly after and we got a solid bay. Walk down the road to them and send Caleb's pit Catch and my young Dogo gyp Ginny from fifty yards. She's about 11 months old, this was her first hog in the woods. Hog tried to walk off with them but I cut behind him and he bout walked into Caleb so had no where to go. Got him legged and tied and in the trailer. Caught another young boar bout an hour later and that was it for the night.

Got him sold this mornin and he weighed in right at 260.

boar this mornin

And Caleb Sanderson has definitely moved up in my rankings of favorite bullriders now knowing that he is a hog hunter too.

Sc- Ginny is a dog a guy named Kieth sent me from Illinois, shes my Yankee dog! She is out of his dam and a stud dog called exodus. I think exodus is one of five grand champion or something Dogos in the world. Which means he has won championships in the show ring and is a proven hunter, passing all of his hunting tests. I'm not totally sure on the numbers, just what I heard. Marvin could tell you more about that stuff cuz he has a grand champion also. She is a little over 11 mo old. I would guess her at about 65 lbs right now. Passed her hunt temperament test (a Dogo thing) at 9 mo old on about a 175 lbs boar, she had to catch by herself, so she is showing a lot of promise. Loves to hunt and goes everywhere with her nose to the ground, except a bay haha. Going to eventually start working her and deuce on the ground together, hoping they will be good for some of the smaller places, to shut things down, if they figure it out.

Mod93dirt- Caleb is a hog dogger through and through, it's about all he does besides ride bulls. Me and him pretty much have the same schedule. I got baseball all weekend while he is Ridin bulls, my girlfriend is in chiropractic school and his is in nursing school so they are always busy with that and studying. So we pretty much spend all week days messing with puppies/young dogs and running the dogs here and there. It's tough, but somebody has to do it.
