Whats the breeding/background on these dogs?  Bloodlines? How far back were the last ancestors used on cattle?  How are the parents for bottom and finess.

C Clark-   I wonder if Julie knows you are using her picture for the homepage of your website.

Savoy, thanks for the heads up!

Clark, if your dogs and pups are so bad, why is the first picture on your home page of my dogs? That picture was taken at Deer Creek Ranch in Lampassass TX., a long way from your neck of the woods. I have to assume that you got it off of my girl friends flickr account, from the following set http://www.flickr.com/photos/julieanna/sets/72157604771722991/

Though the picture is listed as copyright creative commons, creative commons only applies to non-profit use. As such, use on any website promoting sales or service, such as your own, represents copyright infringement.

I would venture to guess that Julie may provide a copyright waiver assuming that you make such a request and agree to provide a text credit and link the picture back to her flickr account.

Please feel free to contact me or PM Julie, truebluelacy, here on ETHD.

Thank you,

Steve Williams

Well... in my opinion it's kinda shady that you wouldn't take my picture off your web site and I had to disable the link. If your dogs are guaranteed greatness, why do you need a picture of our dogs to promote them?

Well listen here copyright thief, I talked number 2, all she did was ask a question. Next time that you steal a picture off of the internet, you might want to make yourself familiar with the very basics of copyright infringement. following is a link, provided for your convenience.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copyright_infringement

Copyright infringement is both a big deal and illegal, and don't try to make it sound like you "took the pic off, since it made her so mad". She had to delete that picture from her flickr account, interrupting every associated link, because you ignored both public and private requests to comply with copyright law.

All that you had to do was respond to requests but instead you chose to ignore demands. Bad form little man, let this be a lesson learned.

I think if I was going to put pictures of someone else's dogs on my website, then I would put a little note at the bottom that says, "These are cool pics, but they're not my dogs."

Besides, whats the point of having your own site anyway.

But hey, what do I know...

IMO, if you put a picture on your own website of someone else's dogs and don't put a note on it stating that it wasn't your dogs, then that is a blatant lie.  Everyone who looks at that pic on your site would believe they were your dogs, if not otherwise stated.  You have obviously taken time to make a good website, take some extra time to get good pictures of YOUR dogs.

Well i really did not know that it is illegal and i am sorry if i caused anyone any trouble like i said i am still young i am only 18 and really dont know much about a dam computer but i am glad that you all did not get me in trouble and i will make this a listen in my book.....I have been raising dogs since i was a kid and have seen many real and true hogs dogs and still have a few rite now.... But just because i am young dont mean i dont know nothing about hog hunting and hog dogs so if any one is still interested in my puppies they are 3/4 curr and 1/4 pit....And once again i thank all of yall for the help and the careness and socialalty of everyones website.....I will not make the same mistake twice...
