Sure like the male dog. Nice legs and long nose on him for sure. Looks like he can do some traveling.  What region did these dogs come out of?

Your probably ahead of the game by losing them papers on em.  Cheesy

Glad your goin Yeller Grin

Thought I saw something i liked about him. Lol. If you didn't see any papers on him he prob ain't foundation bred. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.  Looks Perty leggy with a nice long nose to be out reg dogs. But i am not by any means an expert on them. You may just have you a good ole East Texas Thicket dog. But just isn't alot of them foundation dogs around here unless they have been brought in.
Who's dogs out of Lufkin is he out of..or purchased from?

Again really like his build.

Female looks like she carries a little heavier coat than typical foundation bred dogs also.  She reminds me of some of the pics that BigO and Skoal have posted of their dogs.  Nice looking pair however.  The male's head reminds me of Carnathan bred dogs.

im from hemphill which is about 50 miles from lufkin two of my buddies bred the dogs and both parents have papers but like you said i prolly got a head start on losing them papers cause they cant catch hogs and he is for sure a thicket dog i have him here in deer park with me now and we have been hunting the marsh a little he laughs at these hogs cause they barely run at all where the hogs back home have been dogged so much it dang near takes a bullet to catch one where are you from yellowblackmask

those two dogs really suprised me when i hunted behind them. its like they are always in sync with eachother no matter how far apart in the woods they are. its hard to find a pair that hunt as well as they do..hopefully those two yella dogs wont mind a floppy eared red dog hunting with them hahaa
