Here's pics of my trailer.  I started out like a lot of guys I've seen on here, with plans and drawings.  I am a one man operation and having this rig helps me haul my dogs (12) anywhere I need.  There's alot I can say about everything on the trailer.  I might do a few things different in the future, but this rig will last me for a good while.  I still have some painting and small little things to fab but for the most part, I'm done.

Shoats and sows...  I'm back on my streak!  Here's some pics from last wknd.

Rubber granulated flooring.  My buddy Ed puts these floors in and SafeFloors is the company he started.  Here's his link.

Rubber keeps the metal from getting too hot and also helps provide traction.  It's a little pricy but I said "let's give it a try".

I like your rig.  Those floors are nice.  I had an aluminum boat made by Glen Boatright and he installed floors just like that on the floor and decking of the boat.  Sure made it nice in the summer!

Josh,

Trailer looks great. I especially like the conduit to keep from dragging wires loose while offroad. I can't imagine how many hours you must have in that rig.

Chris, I'm not tooting my own horn or exaggerating but I build that entirely myself.  It has taken a lot of hours.  I'm pretty particular about little things and I knew I wouldn't be happy unless I did it myself.  But i will attest to this: It sure is worth having it, now that I'm done...

well, i hope you don't mind people "borrowing" some of your ideas.  i'm the same way though, i'm pretty picky when it comes to things like that, i'll draw it out to scale 4 or 5 times before i even start on a project.

I used to draw everything out on Autocad prior to construction.  Now I just start throwing some steel together.  Grin

Lately I have been getting some help from my fabricator friend JML, he has the tools and knowledge to make quick work of a project that would take me endless hours to complete.

The more I look at your rig, the more things I see that I NEED on mine Wink
