I've had mine for about six months now, and the only issue I've had with it is it reversing the compass calibration, showing north as south or east as west. The last update it had helped this greatly, but it will Still do it every now and then. Other than that I ain't had a lick of trouble from it.

Mine does that too, I just re calibrate it when it does.
I read on another board that certain led lights will interfere with the Garmin causing lost communication.
