Got a call from a good friend on thursday afternoon who manages a game ranch he said that he had some hogs that was rooting up the food plots that he just planted and the hogs had to go. We loaded the dogs up friday afternoon to see what all the fuss was about arrived at the ranch about 6:30pm and looked aroung for a couple of minutes and decided we would let the dogs make a round to see what they could find. About 10 minutes went by we heard one of the dogs open up so we sent some young dogs to him bam we were bayed started walking to it bay broke but my Leroy pup out of Mikes Tweety dog was still bayed started walking to him and my old dog showed up with him got within 40 feet saw a good hog in a creek bayed sent the bulldogs in as soon as they got to the creek he bolted out of the creek and was gone. By this time the other dogs were bayed at .80 of a mile so we grabbed the bulldogs and headed that way got there and this is what we had bayed. HOW MUCH DOES HE WEIGH?

I'm not much for guessing weight, but he's been eating good, that's for sure.

That's a real nice hog. I'm gonna guess 290. James is guessing 305. It is hard to tell from the pic. Should have had.someone stand next to it. Lol

Dang. You should be real proud of that hog. A 300 pounder is huge IMO. Anything over is GRANDE!  Grin

Wow... That in itself is something to just be proud of! That's not just good dog work, thats a good handler as well! Good stuff Mr.Mac, and thanks for sharing.

Did you just release him again, or what? Why didn't you get to weigh him?
