JK ..  Most are private ranches have to pay to play.  Got some that are beer leases and some deer leases. Great hunting, you can hunt year round down here. What area u moving too?

275?! Shocked I live south of hebronville now but grew up in San Antonio and that is about triple of what I had in mind. Why so much? During deer season

Eagle ford is the reason. Buddy of mine wih a ranch in cotulla paid for a room for 3 months just in case he needed one during deer season.

Well, Brownsville is in south Texas.  But El Paso is west Texas.  They are over 800 miles apart.

cause there's so much oilfield work down there right now. They can get away with it. Fast food is the same way. I paid $15 for 2 small tacos and a medium drink

Lots of hogs but every brother, mother, cousin, boy friend, unlce of the ranch hand, day hand, fence builder, lawn mower has a curr dog and two pitts in their back yard.... And they all can promise to catch more hogs than you. Wink
