Had just turned the dogs out and after about a minute one of the dogs dogs came with something white in his mouth. It was a pure white pink eyed good sized bunny rabbit that was still alive. Guess he thought I wanted it?

I have seen a few crazy things in my travels but this one seems to stand out the most. A good friend and I were Black Bear hunting on Prince Of Whales Island in SE Alaska.  We had been hunting out of a boat and beaching it in bays and hunting the slat grass flats for about a week.  One day we had hunted this flat all morning and were going to walk out and hunt the afternoon and evening in the next bay over.  We decided to have lunch on the beach and were sitting and eating PB&J sandwiches when a whole pod of Dolphins 30 or so came through the very small entrance to this bay.  They came all the way up to us in very shallow water and started to act very strainge, almost beaching them selves at times. About 2 mins later a whole pod of Killer Whales 15  or so came through the entrance of the bay and started attacking the dolphins.  The larger whales would ram the dolphins so hard they would fly out of the water 20-30 feet in the air.  They would then float on the surface where the younger whales would ram the dolphins over and over hitting them hard each time.  This went on for about an hour.  My buddy and I were just watching in silence and in almost a trance.after all teh dolphins were dead and the whales had finished they just swam off.  We looked ate eachother and were just in shock.  It was the most brutal display of force I have evr seen. Nature is cruel at times but amazeing in the same breath.  Later I aske a biologist from the ADFG what was happen ing and they said that they think the whales were teaching the young tou hunt.  Funny thing was they never even tried to eat a single dolphin that I saw.  Just killed them and swam off.  Very cool thing to see probably one of a handful of people to ever see something like that.

I'd have ate dolphin sushi 4 sure! PBJ got nothing on fresh fish. I can tell you how long ago you caught shrimp just by eatin them raw.

Last dead dolphin I saw was 39 years ago in the Sea of Cortez.... and it didn't smell fresh...  Shocked

I posted a while back about this. Last deer season i had a big black cat walk out into a clearing before i could get my mind wrapped around what it was he was back in the woods. i have always been told they dont really exist in texas so i freaked and called my buddy and told him and calmed down. well about 20 minutes later the sucker steps back out 200 yrd down the road. well i had the worst buck fever i have ever had and missed him. this was in corigan

About 15 years ago i was hunting out around pearland and found a old homestead and it had an old grain silo on it. the silo was about 40-50' tall and 15' or so in dia. made of brick. i saw a little window on the side so i stuck my head in to see. all of the sudden all he!! broke loose and it seems like 20 buzzards came out at me squawking pooping and throwing up and whooping my as$. i ran as fast as i could and they kept coming at me finally i got far enough away and they left me alone. it took a while to catch my snap then i realized i was bleeding from the back of my head. i think i must have bumped my head pretty hard on the brick around the window opening and must have knocked myself out all i remember was i was on the ground for a split second and they must have thought i was a toilet at some point. i smelled like death and never went back to look at the house.

One time we found a car in the woods that belonged to a missing person. The sheriffs dept. found the body two days later. This was in our regular hunting area. Still creeps me out. Huh?

I found a red switch and then a whole bunch of other pieces from some fighter jets that had collided in the air. Apparently there was not much for the gov to pick up so they just left the small stuff scattered. As a young boy it was great.

A couple hours from McAllen I was sitting in a stand. I saw something black in some 3 foot tall grass that was black and was taller than the grass. I was watching through my scope. It was past the property line and across a road so I was just trying to figure out what it was because there were no cows in the area. Then I saw the big long black tail and I knew it was a black cougar and it was really big. I thought long and hard about the shot. But with the Game Warden station only a few miles away I thought better of shooting across the road. The property line would not have bothered me with that big cat. I was real nervous walking back to the truck in the dark!

Nobody was asked to believe me. But it ain't bigfoot because there are black jaguars in North America. I believe it was a cougar but I was told that jaguars do make it that far north. All I know is it was a bog black cat. But it was too far to see faint markings to confirm anything. But I did stop by the Game Wardens the next day and they said they had many reports and believed it was a Jaguar. Whatever it was it was really cool to see.

I remember a boy getting laughed at when told everybody that he saw a cougar. Just plain cougar but they where none in the area. man he got jabbed hard for two nights straight. The third night he drug the cougar into camp. I love it when somebody that was not even there calls someone a liar. To me it just says someone has not been out enough to see crazy things that nobody believes.

Sorry catacrazy, wasn't aiming at you. Just skeptical on sighting. Hunt a ranch no more than 2 miles from my house, that the deer hunters see cats on nearly every year. I've walked every cow trail, road, deer trail, and look in every bare spot. I'd love to just find a track.

I remember when the shuttle blew up. My brother assisted with the search and clean up, working with the local law enforcement. He said it was a very somber experience. Not only were they picking up pieces of the shuttle, they were also having to recover pieces of the bodies (I mean no disrespect in my reference to the victims). At one point, he said he was just in that zone of cleaning up and picking up pieces when he was surprised by what he had just picked up. He had seen that whatever it was, it was badly burned. Only after picking it up did he realize that it was someone's 'manhood'. Not something I would even want to think about.  Undecided

On another occasion after Hurricane Rita, I had hunted several days in a row in a pine thicket from my bow blind. It was so thick, you had to crawl in a couple spots to get through to my blind. Every day I smelled something rotten and every day it got worse. Finally, I couldn't take it, I decided not to go back until that smell was gone. My Uncle hunted close to me and called me after a couple days and told me to get out to the area we hunted. He said it was an emergency. Our land is in a little community called Saron out in the boon-docks just a little south of Zavalla, Tx. I couldn't figure out what it could be that was so pressing. Well... I was wasting my time, I would never have guessed it in a hundred years. The smell had been coming from a dead man that was only about 60 yards from my stand. He was an elderly man that had tried to get out of the path of the hurricane and got lost in the backroads trying to get away from all the traffic that was piling up on Hwy 69. He was a diabetic and didn't have his medicine for several days. He got delerious and took off walking through the woods, leaving his truck sitting on the edge of an oil-top. Again, I don't mean to sound disrespectful of the gentleman by telling this story but I must say, it was a gruesome sight to see. The coyotes had found him long before my uncle did.
