After reading all of these black cat sightings I figured I would share mine with yall. Back in 2002 I was working on the Norias division of the King Ranch, early one morning me and my buddy were parked on a road waiting for our quail hunters when we saw a black cat cross in front of us about 125 yards. This cat had a long tail and to both of us was black. After word getting around some of the cowboys said that they had also seen something like that. In 2006 a few buddies of mine had a deer lease in Benavides, TX, one night while driving back to their camp they shot a black cat, they hit it, found blood and black hair but were too scared to go into the brush to look for it.  They looked for buzzards for the next few days but never found anything. In my opinion they are out there.

I havnt really had any strange hunts, i always hunted on family land so we would hang out on the old porch of the homestead. But my grandfather told me a story once when he ran dogs on the border of GA and he heard his hounds bay and as he made his way there it was dead silent other than the occasional bark. As he got close he heard a guy scream and he ran out into a clearing and the dogs were baying a man, as they were talkin the guy was lost etc etc and as they were walkin out they ran into a police search party. turns out the guy was a fugitive and his dogs found and bayed him. i thought that would be a wierd thing to happen

I'll tell mine too . Not sure the year for sure but it was about 8 years or so back and I saw something walking straight away down the road and I told myself that is what was, then turned broadside and stopped and looked at me before walking off in the brush. This is in Galveston county right by brazoria county line . I just saw it that one time but I was told that one was before years before by the farmers. We also used to see a jagurundi very frequent on thi property too but in a different spot of ranch . I also hear that there is a pair of Black cats seen every so often in the Liverpool area which is only about 5 miles from the ranch I am talking about . On thing that stuck out the most on the cat was the tail looked to be almost as long as the body !
As for stuff seen while hunting . I really isn't weird but the deer lease we are on has 4 old car on it that look like the were used as deer blinds .

Late December about 3 years ago a buddy of mine was tending to thier river camp on the Mississippi River. It was mid-week and he was by himself and had all the gates locked behind him. He is fumbling around cleaning up making a little noise, when he hears what sounds like someone hallaring. He stops what he is doing and looks up the road and hears it again except its back toward the river. He turns to see a man in a canoe in the Mississippi River in December. The man paddles to the bank and asks where is nearest sand bar is because he wanted to set up camp. My friend tells him theres not any because the water is too high. The man said he had been on the river for 3 months and all that was in his canoe was a tarp two fishing poles, some wood, and two paddles. His plans were to go to New Orleans and stay a while then get a bicycle and go up the East Coast. My friend said the smell from this man at 30 yards was unimaginable and his beard was to his waist. Some people do things a little different I guess.

here at 6 and 99 between Alvin and Manvel there's a Christmas tree farm/petting zoo that had 10-12 axis a couple years back and let em all go. I go to she sand pits over there to fish and see em over there every now and then.

My senior year of high school my ag teacher swears up and down he saw a black buck run across hwy 6 somewhere in Alvin

OMG!  Cheesy  Cheesy  Cheesy We need to find that poor old guy and get his shirt back to him. I think its his lucky hog catching shirt. I bet after a night of hunting and loading and unloading dogs, it did smell good.  But hey if you need a lucky hog catching shirt, Im sure he will understand if you want to keep it.  Grin Cool

My Brother-in-law was riding quads in the creek and found about a 2010 Suburban in the creek. They called the police and it was stolen.

No black cats or Bigfoot here......
My hunting parntner & I found a skeleton of a man on the Pecos river a few years back. The poor soul had been missing for about a year, they had found his truck 'bout a mile upstream & searched the area....It seems he must have drowned, the water had level had dropped & where we found him was just at the waters edge.
I called a buddy who had retired from law inforcement & asked him wich county law we should call (we were right at the county line)
Being the good guys we are, we called the Sherrif's office & led them to the cite. The funny thing about the whole deal was that when "Beuford T. Justice"shows up in his mirrored aviator sun glasses, he looks my partner & I up and down like we had just cut the man's throat!! I kindly asked if they were through with us and we went on huntin'....
Were still hoping to find something strange, like a hog!!

Some sort of old drill bit

I also found a old wooden golf club not to far from here.

Then this old VW van. We ask the land owner about it and he toldus the story. Said some people owed him some money and wouldn't pay so he went a took there can one night when him and his buddies had been drinking next day woke up and saw the van and was to embarrassed to take it back so he just stuck it off in the pasture and it hadn't moved since.
