Good solid TV.  Something the family and I can sit down and watch and laugh without all the crap that usually goes with it.

I think the best thing about the show is that it's not afraid to show em praying on TV.  The shot of them sitting at the table eating dinner as a family and praying makes a person wanna get back to doing it, or at least it does me.

Love the show but there's still a lot of acting as all of them do. Still like Swamp People more though.

Phil is a local hero born in Vivian La. He was quarterback at La. Tach where Terry Bradshaw was his back up,yes that's right. After college he didn't want to play pro ball as it " would interfere with my duck hunting". He always said that Terry went for the bucks and I went for the DUCKS! Lol.

Of course its all set up but I love it. Willie get on my nerves but that all part of the show. I watch it everytime I see it on. High quality clean family entertainment the way it should be

I like me some swamp people but that show is not well put together. I watch one gator Troy and his crew killed and from start to finish I saw 3 different guns in his hands. It is a little too patched together. They call a 6 foot gator a 10 foot gator. Don't get me wrong. I love the show I just think someone who knows something about the outdoors needs to clean it up a little in the filming and editing departments. But i guess its fine for a city slicker who dont know the difference.

Hey.....  My family loves it.  I've followed Phil since the eighties.  Any of yall remember cut em Coco.

Sure do. Warren Coco. The inventor of the "Go Devil". He and Phil made the first Duckmen VHS video together. When them
Duck Commander calls started hitting South Louisiana it was like a re invention of the wheel. You had to call him up and order
you one by phone and he would mail you one. He was making them in his shed. It didn't take long before they was in every
sporting goods store in the state. The rest is history. Sells them all over the world now. I still have 2 of his original DC 200
calls I ordered by mail from him in the 70's.
