we just bought one and i called the vet... she said to just get one seven in one shot and give the dog 1/4 of the shot every two weeks. that is what i am doing with our pup. so the pup will get four shots but only one cc of vaccine.

The same dose is used for a 150lb dog and a 2 lb dog. Does not make sence but ask your Vet and they will tell you the same thing. We asked that with my wifes Chinese crested puppy,2lbs 5oz. The vet did the first because i was not sure, I did the rest after finding out.. Bad thing is they don't have the extra skin like a large breed puppy and it can be tricky. The Vet might be the safe choice if you have not given alot of shots.

Protocol for us (veterinarian setting) with tiny breed pups.....they'd get a distemper vaccine with NO LEPTO. They would also get a dexemethasone and diphenhydramine injection to counteract a possible vaccine reaction. The lepto vaccine is no good for the tiny guys.
