Keep em Straight and Keep em Yeller

Well we have seen strikedog posts, baydog posts and bulldog posts.

Let's try something a lil different unless I have missed a thread.

This is for your straight catching cur dogs. Definition to that is "No Bark" straight in and nail type dogs.
Doesn't necessarily have to be Yeller curs, just as long as they are a breed of cur. And yes Cat boys yall can play as well.  Grin

Enjoy

Dog on left belongs to my buddy strikedogkennel. Haven't seen him bark yet.

Ironheadkwnnels Yeller dog hits like a train. Really like this lil dog.

And the old man on the right.  No baying bone in him for as long as he has been with me. Originally off of Indianvalleyranch stock.

The cat on the left is straight catch. The black dog will bark once or twice then catch by his self.

Catahoulas finding hogs is what was throwing me off, not their heads!!!  Evil   Grin    Just Kidding...

They for sure got some big heads and short lookin snouts for Catahoulas...
But if there is a good bit of Bulldog, that would explain the finding hogs part!!  Kidding Again!!  Grin  Tongue

they look purebred pit in the photo's...but I have seen cur dogs look pure cur that have a half or quarter pit and still look like cur dogs...

She has learned to bay on good boars till I get there but will catch without hesitation once I tell her to.

The one I'm holding hound style hasnt bayed since he was pup until our 300+ pound boar Friday night, but when I needed him to, he swallowed that ear and held like an old bulldog.

This one is just basically a yellow pit bull

Nice looking dogs everybody..

Here is Tuff he's 17 months old been catching since 3 months. The only time I've seen him bay is if a bunch of hogs rally together to fight or if the hog is in some real real thick briars but even then once I get there he will go ahead a get ahold of one

1st gyp at the top is off TexasJ's yard and come from foundation dogs but is not registered as far as I know.  gyp at the bottom of my post is of unknown heritage ( finders keepers bloodline )

The big houndy lookin male in the middle came from Thoms, he'll NEVER be bred. I like him just fine, but he got no brain to him. He has value as a stop dog to me but that's all he's got going for him.
