I have a yard full of them, and an AB. They can run cats, hogs, bear, coon and pretty much what ever you want with them.

Plotts are all I have. Nothing against any other breed, I just love the versatility of the Plott. My bay dogs have a deep, loud chop and my strike dog is silent on track. Sometimes she will let out a yelp on a hot track, but other than that, she's quiet. Mine are gritty enough to get after one no matter what it takes, but smart enough to get the job done. I really like them.

Reuben,
He is a 14 month old pup that will run and bay his own hog.. No quit in him; he is catchy and bays real tight. Dollins/Hicks bred.

Tom, he is your pup. This is Jon. Your pup is in the video, tries to catch every hog he sees.

Had Plotts for years and still love hunting with them. Most of the guys I hunt with from TN have Plotts,....they're all open on track but we kill a lot of hogs with them and the few cur dogs that a couple of the guys and I have. I truly believe that a Plott/cur cross will consistently make a super hog dog more so than any other.
