He catches on three side behind the jaw. Ty all BTW for ur input. In fairly new to hunting hogs and training dogs for so every bit helps me learn something new and I get to build my own likes and dislikes about it BTW Huntsville tx and surrounding areas I'm opening a bay/ training pen in the area for the pubic to come train in a wooded pen. Ear's are the way to go I think

as long as the dog dont let go when you get their its fine . but catching a nose gets other dogs cut more often
