Feed will help put weight on but only exercise will put on muscle. I run mine behind four wheeler some days, other days I let them out and let them wrestle and play hard on their own. Muscle is important but I think exercising builds up their endurance and stamina.

This dog has the endurance and stamina of a marathon runner me and heavy hitter89 took him on a hunt in Alvin one night awhile back and he ran 32 miles on my garmin by himself and he still didn't want to load up and leave

i agree about the stamina,, he is never a bit tired at the end of a hunt,, he has the body build to big full of muscle but its like he either wont eat enough to gain the muscle or he just runs to much and burns his food right off

Put it this way we hunt this dog in the hills in the swamp and marsh any where we hunt him I've been hunting early morning here lately cause of the heat well around 9:30 10 ish when all the other dogs are dying to leave cause its so hot it's like he is fresh out of the box not even breathing hard no hanging tongue or nothing he just flat out amazes me

If you are feeding him good feed, worming him on a regular basis, and he is running his but off hunting often, then maybe it's genetics  the
way he is built. Feed him some vitamins, creatine, calf liver, raw eggs or something like that. What brand of feed or you feeding?

What is the point of building muscle? Dogs don't have to pick heavy s**t up, they run, that's it.

Maybe I'm missing something?

X2 I dnt reccimend creatine its bad for us n dogs although I might give bulldog some occasionly. I like bully max pet tabs liver eggs n an all natural feed. If he can run thst much he outta be cut or its just how he's meant to b. Id switch feed I dnt like ol roy n do as above n try that. I really liked bully max

Not so sure a strike dog needs that much muscle, BUT if you really wanna put on some mass and lean hard muscle BULLY MAX Is the way to go. I was a big skeptic till i used it. I only have used it on pit/bulldogs tho.
