Made a solo round by myself yesterday afternoon. Just took my B team, left Briar at home and trying to make the other ones get out and find one.. Took Drake, Libby, Lexy and Whiskey (my boogie pup)... Dropped the dogs down about 5:45. They hunted good, rolling out and making some good passes. Lexi was fresh and literally ran the whole time, mostly chasing deer. It was on about 745 when drake fell bayed around 700 yards out. I drove around to him and sent Libby to him. As I was headed in with Redman i heard em catch about 70 yards out so I went ahead and sent back up. It was in a bad, bad briar patch. This hog never said a word and was still walking around with them when I got there. I eventually got him flipped an tied. Then went and decided to stick him so I could get him out easier. The hog ended up being around 215-220 Barr hog. One of the first hogs I ewe cut abt 4 years ago, he grew about a 150#'s but didn't have that real Fat barr frame. He was long and lean. Anyways that's it, glad to get the dos legs stretched out. I know they've been mad at me lately

Haha right! It wasn't as bad as the hog in the beaver pond during the TDHA but it was still a mini battle for a few minutes.

Thanks Harry!

Trenton, whiskey did well. Starting to figure it out more. She was off doing her own thing and didnt show up til I had the hog legged but she jumped right in. First hog she's been on in the woods. She ran her first track as well this hunt, even though it was just a deer. She's been slower starting than some but I'm still impressed after this last hunt
