yes it works for fleas and sucking lice mite and such . their was a study done in egypt and the uk about it's affectiveness on ticks can't find where i wrote it down . but just google ivomect for ticks and something should come up . i haven't picked 10 ticks off my dogs in 15 years but i spray and dip in permethrin regularly .

X2 on what Halfbreed said. I mix in a gallon jug. 4 tablespoons of Adams Flea and Tick concentrate 1/2 bottle Skin So Soft (SSS) and fill to the top with distilled water. Shake well then spray the dogs. This will keep the fleas, ticks, flies, skeeters and mites off them and make them smell good. 1 gallon of this mixture will last a long time.

Same here Tom. Used Ivermec for as long as i can remember and have never seen it work for Fleas or Ticks. can't say i have ever had a Tick problem but i am having a Flea problem like everyone else this year bad. Just bought some Permethrin, seen alot of people post about it on a thread here on this site. Glad i red the article and took the advice from the others that use it and have success. Thanks to all that posted about it. Good price also at Tractor Supply.

Ive got just the opposite, no fleas but ticks are terrible. Haven't noticed any ticks since I applied the permetherin. Seems to be working so far.

fleas will leave tape worms in the dogs, I use zimectrin gold which has ivermectin and praziquantel so it his dang near every parasite from the inside out and its hard to overdose the dogs with it, cats on the other hand not so much.
