Hello everyone. I'm kinda new to the site. I have been on here a few times to read the stories and to check out the great hunting pictures that everyone puts on here. I have been hog hunting for a long time, but only been hunting with dogs for about 1 yr now. My pack consist of 3 catahoula 10 months old, 2 BMC 9 months old, and 1 pit thats 1yr old. They all are doing pretty good, they just need more time in the woods. Well just wanted to say hello agian and good hunting to everyone.
James

glad to see i'm not the only newbie. Catahoula's are our passion. We have been hunting and baying them for about 25 yrs. However we have just started fooling with a few Black Mouth Curs also. I have one that is 8 months old that i'm crazy about. he is a demon in the pen. I will try him in the woods this fall after the gators go in.

Great looking group of young dogs. Really like the Rowdy dog especially. He looks just like our stud dog Odis. How is he bred? Odis is a baying machine. All of his puppies are demons. We tried to post some pics but it will not let us. If anyone can help with uploading pics please do so.

Thanks I'm not sure how they are breed. There dad has papers and all I know is that he came from Louisiana. I own the mom to them. She was gave to me. The guy I got her from said she is papered but he couldn't find them. So far they bay pretty tight and they are getting gritty. They do great in a bay pen, they just need more time in the woods.

goodlooking dogs you have there. always remember its the love you show and time you spend with your dogs makes them good hunting dogs. Half of the dogs Ive had and have are other peoples rejects and every dog I have will find there own hogs and can hunt with the best of them.Find someone in tour area with dogs and keep putting them on hogs by the time there 2 you will be burning the woods up.Hog hunting is my crack or cocaine i just cant get enough of it. Take care, any time you have questions just ask ,plenty of good people on sight, fashion your hunting from taking a little bit of advice from everyone and putting it together how it fits your style. Until the squeal is real . Harry
