May be thyroid, I  have seen alot of it lately in certain bloodlines of coon hounds.  I dont relly know what happens but they loose some of there desire.  The ones I have seen got back to normal in a few months of meds.  May not be the case with yours but if you have blood work wouldn't hurt to check.  Any one seen this in hog dogs before?  Lots of the Bellar and wipe out walkers have this.

After covering all the bases... there is no sure thing when it comes to hog dogs... sometimes they just learn to protect themselves too well... at the cost of good hogs... but it happens... and then some start out like that and fall off... some don't start off and do... you just never know.  Grin
