This boar hog was 3 legged but was quick as anything. Thakfully my dogs were layed up and couldn't hunt so we took my buddies dogs. We bayed this joker in the broad open with no catch dog and he put on a serious butt whoopin to his dogs. We finally got him caught, but in the process he killed one dog on the spot, and the next day another one died. The hogs leg was missing from his knee down, and it had been gone a long time. Probaly from a gator if i had to guess.  |

we catch quiet a few 3 legged hogs around here from people shooting them and most will be boars and i guess from being handicapped they learn how to fight and are alot rougher than people would think. thats a good one sorry about your buds dogs

We caught an ol 3 legged sow a cpl yrs back and that ol hog ran them dogs almost 2miles before they shut her down, she whooped a cpl dogs perty good, she didn't cut a single 1 but she bit 3 out of 4, broke ones leg just below the elbow and demolished anothers foot......rankest sow i've ever caught....if a sow can be rank lol.
Glad ya'll got him put down and sry to hear about the dogs.
