Alright guys had an accidental breeding. Y'all think there could be any hope to this cross.
Any of y'all ever ran this type of cross.

you might get a few that won't catch or hunt...then you might get a few that have the best of both worlds...I have seen both types...

You have a cold nose dog and a catch dog. ive had a hound pit cross before
and he made a damn good strike dog and was gritty as they come. he was smart
about it though.
and like stated above. some of em might not eeven look at a pig

I've got a friend that's running one pretty nice dog gets pretty rangy an will try to catch most hogs first then bay if he can't handle it, he had a full brother that wasn't worth a dam thow, but I don't know what the parents were like.

Thanks y'all. So it basically a 50/50 chance with em all. Either thru got it or they don't. I'll just have to see when they get older.

i got one thats 3 years old and she is a dang good strik dog and will try in catch if she has other dogs with her.. but her brother wont do nothing but bay no catch in him at all... so you could get some good dogs are some not so good dogs...
