Picked me up a new pup today thanks to OKboarhunter! I live in the city for now and can only have 3 dogs. I had two already and been holding out for a third that I was excited about getting. Well I got him today!! OKboarhunter got him from BayedHard, but unfortunately couldnt keep him. Happy I could help Dustin out and help myself out at the same time. I've got some pretty high hopes for this pup. Gonna let him get used to things around here and then start working him. Hopefully he'll be ready to hit the woods when it starts to cool down. Here are some phone pics of him. I'll try to get some better pics when I can get him to sit still long enough!!

Man I'm really likin this pup so far. Great temperment on this dog. I took him out yesterday for a little walk in the woods. I had him on a 30ft lead just cuz I didnt want him to get away till we know each other a little better and I know he will come when called. He was at the end of the lead most of the time we were out there with his nose on the ground checking things out. Brought him to the fenceline where the neighbors have cows and he was barkin and pullin on the lead for all he had to get to them cows. While I dont want a cow dog, I was happy to see him wanting to get after them. Then as we were walkin the trail, a possum crossed bout 30ft in front of us that he didnt see. I just kept on walking and as soon as he hit where it crossed he stopped cold and put his nose to the ground. He backtracked it for a minute, then ran it the right way and was pulling on the lead again. Once again, I dont want no possum dog, but I was happy to see this. The funniest thing was when he seen the horses. They were bout 200yds out in the pasture and he ran to the end of the lead barking like a mad man....until 6 horses come running full speed at us, then he came back to me. He didnt feel quite as big with all them horses around him. Gonna show him a pig sometime this week, probably from outside the pen.  I got a 120lb boar penned up that is a rank little sucker, and probably too much for his first hog. I'm lookin for a small one to do some mock hunts with.

Here is a pic of him getting to know the horses.
