Me, James, Bryant, Travis, Kendall, and Justin decided to hit the milo fields last night. As soon as we got there we dropped a couple of dogs and in a few minutes Bryant's (Underdog) dogs, Stryker and Preacher man struck a hog. Milo is thick, tricky stuff. The hog gave us the slip before we could get to it. This tends to happen in thick milo.

We casted the dogs again a few times and then Bryants dogs cut through a milo field and into the edge of the woods. By the time we got a little closer to them, they were bayed solid. Justin and Travis had both brought some pups and so they cut them to the bay. It was some good puppy training.

We didn't know until we got to the bay on foot but the dogs had bayed the hog up in a cave like hole in the side of a run off creek, under some tree roots. They had a good boar hemmed up!  Cool

It was cool. We watched the bay for about 3 or 4 minutes before Travis and Bryant turned their bulldogs, PeeWee and Bruha loose to catch the hog. After it was caught, it was a tricky deal to manuver the hog out of the hole it was in.

James, Travis, Bryant and Justin fought with it for a while and finally got it out where they could get it flipped.

After it was flipped, everyone was looking around asking which one of us had the hobbles.  Grin  Cheesy Seems that in the excitement of getting to the bay, NO ONE brought the hobbles.  laugh  So they just stuck it.

It really wish that I could have filmed this bay. It was really cool to watch. Im sure that I have left out several details but the guys can fill in the blanks.

I would also like to say that Bryants dogs, Stryker and Preacher Man are some top notch, hard hunting, never stop, dogs. They are the kind of dogs that if there isnt a hog around, they will chit you one. It was a pleasure to hunt behind these dogs.

Bryant, Travis, James and Justin.  I will let Justin explain to yall why he is wearing shorts.  Cheesy

Some 100% purebred hogdogs is what he's runnin! He took this pic of stryker and brewha this mornin, thought i would add it

Here is another pic i snapped of the group

This was my 10mth old ybmc bonnies first true woods bay, although she didn't find or stop him I was still proud of her when she got there, she bayed her goofy little head off and caught with the others.

And as far as my shorts go, lets just say i had a wardrobe malfunction in my man parts area lol

Mr. Travis and Mr. Bryant, ya'lls AB's are quickly making me want to convert over, that was some damn fine bulldog work!

I think we were still smiling about my comment about " he sure has some big nuts" and all u pervs thought i was talking about Justin's berries. Lmao!! I tell you that bay and catch was the best i have had so far.  everything was baying and i was standing 4 foot above the bay and when the bay dogs finnaly put a little too much pressure on him and he decided to break i dropped peewee on his head and bruha hit seconds later. The only thing that would have made it better is if we would have had it on video. Its kind of funny that he wasnt by far the biggest that i have caught but for sure the most memorable. Thanks again for the invite D and J

As far as the shorts in the picture go, i had an unfortunate "security breach" shortly after the bay....when we got back to the truck i changed outta my de-crotched jeans into shorts.......peaches made a remark about the size of that boar hogs man parts and Mr. James jumped at the opportunity it turn it into a remark abt. My man parts......it was quite funny at the time.

Peachcreek, i told 2 good friends of mine today that while he wasn't the biggest hog i've been in on, he was by far caught in the coolest spot i've ever seen a hog bayed and the dogs couldn't have done better.......to date that was, has been and will most likely be my most memorable hunt for years to come!.....im contemplating gettin me an ab after that display of power ya'll inleashed on him. Hope your finger is doin alright, sure looked rough this mornin.

Once again, couldn't have asked for a better group to hunt with, i had a blast, we need to do it again!
