A buddy called and said he had a good boar get out of the pen. My son and him had caught this hog last week on thier ranch. He wanted me to come try to recatch him, so I loaded up and headed out. We never started that boar but ended up on a boar just as good as the one that got out of pen. We caught this boar about 100 yrds from where they caught the boar last week that got out of the pen.
The boar that got out, come to find out had been hit 3xs with 12ga bird shot and 1x through the mid with a 45, by his dad as the hog ran off. He is prob dead.
This is the one we caught while trying to find the other one.
Buddy lost a good young dog to this one. Nothing else was hurt.
Guessing him around 225 and 2.5 + cutters.
