But of an update on pups that we have bred....it is written in Australian pig hunting speak so you'll have to translate it yourself....
Muesli - Still a bit of a handful but I can catch her most of the time now. She has a VERY strong prey drive and is the better bailer. He isn't hunting as much though as she's a bit Rooey (e collar will fix that) and I keep her chained up until the other dogs jump. When you let her go she is a pig seeking missile. She's got a decent nose. She will try a pig and lug it if she can.
Randy - Going very well. After 3-4 trips hes jumping with Bindi (main dog a staghound) and then staying our longer than her on the scent. Not rooey at all. Seems to know what he's looking for. He out-found Bindi on two occasions and left us gob-smacked after jumping from the bike and winding 3 suckers laid up in the grass 80m away. He out found Bindi and bailed a mob sunday morning, I sent Bindi and she caught her own. He had one bailed 800m away for a while but I couldn't get to him in the scrub and he came back. He has a very good tracking nose and is a wider bailer. He's seen about 10-12 pigs so far so his stopping ability will get better. High hopes for him.
