Went out right at dark with a few friends hit one place and my hound roy burned off about a mile and a half, and i was already sweatin it knowin we were about to walk it. LOL anyways wound up getting him about an hour later, took off to another field and Briar took a trail going out of the corn maybe 180 opened up sent everything to him. It wound up breaking and making a loop around this field that is a little more than a couple hundred acres. Briar leaves all the dogs he was so far ahead of this walker i have it was ridiculous. He wound up stoping it finally, and then Buck and Milley got there and the rest of the dogs including my catch was with the walker about a thousand yards behind us him barkin away. The three tried to catch this Boar but kept throwin em so i shot in the ass thinkin it was the shoulder thick brush lol, it broke Briar and Buck stopped it again about 800 away we get there, and its just buck and briar and my bud casey gets a good shoulder shot and it does a 10 yard loop and comes right back at us. I jump over it casey steps asided and it falls right past us. He wound up weighing 240.

MAYBE I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND, WERE YOUR CATCHDOGS BAYING, OR DO YOU NOT RUN TRUE CATCHDOGS SO THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO SHOOT THE HOGS?   DEF, NOT DISSING YOU OR YOUR DOGS, JUST TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHY DOGS TURNED LOOSE FROM THE TRUCK WILL BARK AND NOT CATCH.

I only had my one catch Lucien with me the others arnt catch dogs when I say turned everything from truck that is pups and whatever other bay dog I have in there and catch. I only put a couple strikes down when i hunt. He went in for the catch it broke and he stayed with the hound that was barkin on briars trail way behind us. Reason for having to shoot hog catch was with other dog 1000 yards back.  I don't know if uve  seen my catch dogs, but don't get any truer than them. Hope I answered your question.
