WARNING!!!!! be cafeful with the medicated ear tags.  Saw the the post on here about putting them on your dogs collar to help with flys ticks fleas, etc.  Thought it was a good idea.  Told my dad about it. he went to the feed store the next day a put some on his dogs.  put them on some older dogs and on two pups that he has of mine that we are training with his hound.  They were 10 months old.  They started to chewing and licking  on them. with in 5 min. one of them started to shack real bad her eyes rolled back in her head, got really really hot. while he was atteneding to that pup the looked up and noticed the other one doing it.  Told my mom to call the vet. and tell him they were on there way.  Long story shot.  One died and the other one is slowly recovering.  Took the tags to the vet.  Said that there was something in them that mess up there nervous system.  He said that he has seen other dogs have them on.  But never had a case were a dog had chewed on them.  So we took them off all the dogs just to be safe.  Not blaming anyone here just want to warn eveyone.

Thanks
Brian

These are the tags I have been using for a few years. I zip tie them to the dogs collar. They cannot lick or chew on them that way.

We just hang them on the outer kennel panels, out of reach.

I cut 2 slits in mine and run collar through it. Keeps them out of reach.
