Got out ran this morning by a big boar... Learned real quick that I do need to have a gps on them... The dogs split up and copper a 10 month old ybmc was bayed two times but could hold it he took a good cut to the belly but is fine....all the dogs stayed gone hunting that runner for about two hours... Sure would have be nice to have a garmin to see where they were...

Or get open dogs lol. Thats the only bad part about silent dogs. Once you start hunting with a garmin you will never want to hunt without one again. It just makes it so easy

Yea the compass screen on the garmins is worthless i only use the map screen.

My compass is always acting up too. I always have to calibrate it atleast twice every hunt. But i pay close attention to what direction they are headed anyway

I thought I was the village idiot when it came to me having the compass screw me up.  At least I ain't by myself when I'm sitting in the woods looking at my Garmin cussing it for lying to me  Cheesy
