Got up at 5 walked outside and man the air was hot humid and thick as mud and Boy I tell ya the last two are three hunts have been track meets for us with big boars. Drop dogs out at 7am maybe a little before and not 200 yds Ranger strikes by a ole mud hole that had hog wallaws all over it . We must have got on the Forrest Gump hog of hogs cause he ran and ran and ran somemore lord have mercy man damn, half way across the proptery then makes a U turn and comes back then runs a mile and a half to the far end creek dogs on him all the way got him stopped two three times but just not enuff time for us to get to them. two hours of this crap back and forth finally he gets away and crosses the river .
Its unreal how far, how long these hogs can run and how fast they can cover the ground . I have not been hunting four five days a week like I use to and it sure shows up on my dogs shape . Sure does make a difference when you run your dogs hard four five times a week. My dogs were spent !

You must be running some if my hogs... Sound just like the way things have been going for us running, running, and more running ! Lol... I truely think the hogs are adapting ! Think about it, it is evolution... You catch the ones that dont run and eliminate them from gene pool, the ones that run and run live to BREED another day !

Yup could not agree more there is no better cull speicalist than Mother Nature and then we cull them too so hell they are getting double dipped !
Aw it goes like this when you are hog hunting you may go several times get stomped , then the next time get a 300 lb prize boar hog . The people that say they dont get out ran are we havent been outran but a couple times is the people I dont care to meet are hunt with cause you aint been were I been if you are saying that.
Big ole boar hog decides he wants to run he is gonna run and you just gonna have to be game nuff to catch his ass if not then you can sit around like me and my buds and talk about what went wrong !

The litte Dee dog got a few minor cuts on here and ole Horn I think took a pretty good body blow he was sure walking stove up when it was all over with . Hannah Montanna ears were cut to crap going threw the viens and briars so was just one of them days .

U don't get out ran if u hunt on island around the lakes just shoot them if they start swimming they usally swim back to the island when driving the boat around it none stop. No deers that way. Lol easy training for pups an easy hunt! Gaff him

Jimmy is training the hogs to run beacuse he is too old to catch them! Teach them to run and no one else can catch them either!
