Do any of y'all drive a wrangler in the woods or would it be to wide? I need some pro's and cons. I looked at the specs and it is 93" wide and a samurai is 80" and I know alot of people use them. Does 13" make a difference?

Never had a Wrangler but I had a Samarai for a decade.  It was light, narrow, short wheel base and manuvered in the woods nicely.

That is one thing I was thinking about. Remove the back seat, load the dogs and go. Drive in drive out drive home. Just may be walking here and there, and not to mention ac during the summer lol. I have a "00 ranger that I want to trade for a samurai or something of the sort... The first bite was this jeep... Won't let me upload a pic right now

X's 2, its way to thick around here for a jeep or a samurai for that matter but im sure it would work great in certain area's.

Had a wrangler for about a year. Went back to 4-wheel one ton flat bad. Wrangler just didn't have enough room for my liking. Hunt out of ranger now and with a good box in the back big enough to have bulldogs on top and room for 4 dogs in the box it works fairly well.

I like mine but I drag a little trailer behind it for dog boxes and hogs if I catch any to bring out. It's not gonna follow a four wheeler but my lease has pipelines and lots of logging roads so it works for me. Get a winch on it before you leave the drive way. What year is it, some have weak trannies if they have a four cylinder.

If it's a four banger with a 5 speed it'll have an AX-5 transmission unless someone upgraded it. Those trannys are junk won't hold up to hog hunting.

Don't get a 4 banger, you will hate it. Walking home will probably be faster too haha

Find a nice samurai or Yota te lifts are cheap. Gets decent fuel mileage and I have put mine through atv trails more than once. I'll post a pic of my set up in a limitless bit.

I looked into yota's. The yota's look to have 10-17 inches more width on them than the jeep and 23-30" more than the samurai. Samurai's are hard to come by and harder to come by in road worthy shape unless you want to pay 6-8 grand. I even saw one for 14k  Shocked
