Last year my wife bought me a pair of the fire hose pants from duluth. The extra ball room pants Smiley anyhow these things are tough. I wear them hunting most of the time especially when i am going to be around cactus. The thorns very rarely make it through to the skin. Anyhow i received a catalog from them in the mail today and saw a little praise from someone who had a run in with a big boar. Anyway i thought i would share...

I am going to have to get me a pair of those... If it'll stop a 650lbs hog then it will stop some mesquite thorns and briars... lol!

mine are really not too bad.. they are kinda baggy in the legs so you get some air. I had to have help getting the boys untangled from a barb wire fence one night though due to the extra ball room  Angry
