If you guys are alligator hunters how much does say a 10 foot alligator weigh thats the main thing that gets me on that show. Just have a hard time grasping it when the narrator says they caught a 9 footer that weighs 600lbs I mean think about it if they caught 10 gators and say all together they weighed 3500lbs does anyone believe you could carry that weight on a aluminum boat on a single axle trailer?

I like the show but the weights for those gators are completely made up......they say a 9ft 600lb gator then show 1 guy grab and toss it in the boat lol

They show 8 ft. Alligators caught on the show and the narrator calls him godzilla and says he weighs 1000 lbs.

Gators are individually different. Some are very round and heavy. Some are long and skinny. A 10 footer can weigh 400 lbs and another 10
footer can weigh 600 lbs.  The ones caught back in the cypress swamps away from public canals and bayous tend to be huge. I'll post some pics of my younger days and some of the gators we caught if I can find them. As far as hauling them on a single axle trailer, those are not standard axles. Anyone who does any type of commercial fishing,crawfishing,alligator fishing, etc. has beefed up axles and springs.

yaw are right, they are catching hogs, but how many times do really you see the pig just jump up and run right in front of you? i will admit, that on a couple acassions, the dogs were plum dog tired, as was the 2 guys and myself and we actually saw the hogs, about 80yds in front of us and then they scattered. the dogs took off after them, caught 3 out of probably 20 head. we ended up toting them out, which the boat was a half a mile away and it took 2 trips to get all hogs n dogs back to the boat. that hog hump will never happen again. every scene when they catch the hog, the camera guy has lens on the hog before the dog does and then its like a que card, the dogs take off and hav a lil 100lb hog caught, well 100lbs most of the time. i guess if you are doing what you like (catching hogs) but dont mind stretching a mile of truth and a 10lb bag of sugar coating, then its fine and dandy.

What does the registry have to do with it? If this sound funny to you, go to an audioligist, hav them clear the wax out for you and maybe the sounds will be more clear. Hav them wash behind your too after they clean the wax out.

ohhh, ok you mean like th 1 i bought from randy wright? yea that about sums it up, but you cant bash all them foundation dogs, iv got a couple that are better and im sure there are others with foundation dogs that are even better. i bet you even hav some of them 20yd dogs, those that are so worthless they wont get 20yds away from the porch or food bowl.

Yep but I got less than 200 bucks in all my 20 yard non papered mutts together .... That alone will make it easier for them to "bite the bullet" if they start hunting less than 15 yards!!!
