trint aint actually bashing all ben dogs, just my ben dog i got from randy that would hunt about 20yds around me. he inquired about him for a friend of his and ask how far out he hunted and i tiold him 20yds and then he ask if 20 was typo. |

I said their dogs find hogs thats a complement . I just could not get that big ass T pee hat out of my mind OOOOOOOOOO lawd help me been worrying the number 2 out of ever since I seen it I got a hat phobia now . Somebody finally broke the combination and told me how he keeps it on his head I think somebody said he wraps a super size condom around his hair line and glues the hat ban in with super glue !!!!!!!!! My first comment about ben dogs wasn't actually about your dog(s)... It was more pertaining to the thread awhile back about the Ben line... I know, I know there's good dog on all lines blah blah blah... I just figured I'd give the sorry ol catahoulas a break and pick on somebody else for a change..  I don't think you can base your opinion on someone's dogs by what you see on a "reality" show either.... Heck it might be making them look better than they really are!!  |

I would imagine if put to real use (off camera) them dogs would be good or better than good, but they could as you say better tv stars than they are real dogs. Close hunt/walkn dogs are better in some places than others and may be prefered than them long ranged dogs bc of property size.

Its not there fault....i had a chance to be filmed and turned it down cuz they said theres certsin "guidlines" they had to follow and alot of the hunt would be modified. Believe me they didnt want to go half the places we had to go and plus they couldnt keep up anyway.

I've been on some aggrivating hunts and in stressful situations while hunting, but the pissing and whining that goes on in this show is rediculous, and idk them personally but they couldnt handle hunting with me and where I hunt. These people really make this sport look stupid. JMO

Good show tonite. Ole Robert needs to ease up on his sister I hate to see all that tension. Old man put him in charge and now I know how he keeps it on his damn head done swoll up of course that could just be the Hollywood Plot who knows. Enjoyed the show tho one of the better ones lot of nice hogs. Got the some new dogs see a lot of Walkers good improvement . LOL best part was when the ole man rolled the jeep .

Yeah am sure that roll was all put on hollywood crap . But I got to say I enjoy the show hell we are all bros and sisters in the hog huntin party its just a show has some good points and bad points just like all of em. Aint no sence in beating everybody up . I was just giving ole Robert hell about his hat just me BSing I do the same with all my buddys I have hunted with . I wish them good luck I really do .
