its funny how we are making fun at them, but their the ones making money at what we love to do.
the reason i dont like it and im not going to bash   is what we love to do is hard work  and thay make it look so easy
Obviously they dont show the whole hunt because you cant catch 4 pigs in 21 minutes and have everything loaded up and be home. it does look easy, they show the parts where they are on a hog. we hunt 4 hours and we may not have 1 hog caught yet. they are getting paid to do this so why does everyone have to bash on them, its their show if you dont like it change the channel!

I'm glad someone else saw that deer footed calf. I rewound my DVR 5 times trying to see for sure that is was a dead deer.  Just could not believe they would say it was a dead calf and show a dead deer foot.

I must admit, I got a big crush on Lea. She makes the show.

How much money could they possibly be making for catching hogs?   It seems that this is, and has been, there sole source of income for quite some time, so how much money do they bring in?  Now I know that since they got the TV show, they are getting paid for that, but I'm talking about from the farmers/ranchers.
That last show, they went to a 30 or 40,000 acre ranch and caught about 5 hogs and said they took care of the hog problem and the rancher could finally sleep at night.   Shocked

I'm not knocking the family, realizing the editors are putting together "entertainment" for the rest of the world.  So if someone actually knows them, maybe you can fill us in how they make money.  I hunt a big ranch and don't get paid a penny, sure would be nice to cover some expenses every once in a while.  Undecided

How many others get paid to catch hogs on other peoples land?  I'd like to hear from those as well.

And the two ladies rock!  Not only are they easy on the eyes, but they can get the job done.  My hats off to 'em!

you've been lucky 94 i was put up many a tree when i first started harrasing the hogs around my old farm  lol that is the reason i started killin hogs . i hope every recently became an urban city boy and girl becomes terrified of hogs , it will sure open up a bunch of places to hunt and trap . hogs are a dangerouse animal to the point i made some kids get out of the woods where i was hunting and i told their parents to not let them go down that creek bottom without adult supervision for the simple fact i knew the old boar and sows that bedded down in there well . and if you stumbled up on a sounder [ like i used to do while tracking them ] they would come to greet you  lol and it don't take but one runnin by you and slinging it's head to make you bleed out before you get help . we as hog hunters know the risk kids walking down to the fishin hole don't . it ia a good thing the hogs are put in this light  imo . it might save a young boy or girls life if they know to watch out for the killer hogs  .

So I picked up watching this show also, is it just me or are they possibly staging these hunts?  I haven't seen one hog of any real size and definately nothing other than milk teeth on anything they have caught.  Watched one this afternoon of a "huge" hog they caught that had a ear all messed up, looked like it was a ear that a bullbog had just shredded...
