I have a 8 month old bulldog pup  out of my two bulldogs, hes already showed me he will catch so Ive been working on handle until hes old enought to start , I have 4 bulldogs , one male 75lb rednose , a female 50 lb red nose , 100 plus female american and the pup , I run them all together behind the atv on the river and the pup now is super fast up to 29 MPH and he will run at the other dogs head and act like hes catching , he would be so pumped it would impossible to stop him , I acually ran over him trying to get him to stop once hauling a$$ , I didnt want a war to start I couldnt stop so I have  put the elec. on him and stopped this behavior , hes listening when I speak and not missling the other dogs , hes just playing but I see the way the other dogs act and they dont like it , Do you think he will be a little hesitiant the next time he is showed a hog? do you think my method of training was correct in trying to stop that behavior?

It should'nt effect him on a hog unless you shock him on a hog. I bet when you show him a hog the switch will turn on and he will be find. Most dogs are smart enough to know that your just getting on them for using bad manners, as long as you do'nt over shock them for every wrong thing they do.

I agree with lance, but why in the world are you running a bulldog like that? Lol. Everyone I ve talked to about bulldogs let em loose 100 yards or closer to the bay.
