Me and Stephen and some friends went out last night to one of Stephen's places and kicked the dogs out. A short while later, we heard his dog possom open up, and soon the other dogs joined. When we got over there to them, we could see they had a very nice boar bayed up that would break 300 lb, and had a nice set of chompers stickin out both sides. We sent smoke in to catch, and that boar tossed him twice and came chargin to us. We dodged him, and got on his trail immediately. He cut some dogs up some. About 5 minutes later, The dogs bay up another boar about 230 lb in a creek. It was not the same boar we were on, but he put up a heck of a fight. Stephen stuck him and we pulled him out for a few pics. Pic1:  Pic2:  This morning, me Wynne, Stephen, and Cory go out to another one of Stephens honey holes and a short while later we're bayin a good pig. He breaks and runs as we send the Smoke and Max in to catch, and we end up having to gather the cd's back up. well smoke decides he's gunna follow this sucker and catch him. So we have no clue where the heck he went, when all the sudden we here possom and red open up at the top of this hill. me and stephen run up there and come up on this big boar with smoke caught hangin on with all he's got. We start plungin swords into this thing like pirates. That Boar tore the vest up pretty good, and its gunna have to be replaced. But smoke came out with only a few minor cuts. great hunt. We guessed his weight, but we'll know the true weight in about another hour and i'll let you know. Start throwing your guesses out there. 3" teeth both sides Pic1  Pic2  Pic3  |

I am gonna guess the big boar went 355 on the hoof, he looks like a real good one!! Good hogs in both pics, keep em coming.

Dang nice hog there. He looks awful wide, but not real long bodied to me. I am going to guess 315# and allow myself a 30% margin of error  |

Im gonna say 250 lbs +or- 100lbs......lol. Im a poor judge on a hogs weight even when Im standing next to them!

In the record if the weight was right and 3" cutters and they were only 2" cir, this boar would have been in the range of 719 points in the record book.
