Took my little man to the tree stand this evening for his first gun hunt. We sat for about 20 min and I saw a raccon coming out of the bushes. He brought his gun up in that direction. I told him "No we are not shooting raccoons." He said "Dad there is a hog!". Sure enough just a little farther in the woods was a hog I hadn't seen. I calmed him down and when the hog got in range I told him to take the shot. Dropped him where he stood with his .22. Awful proud of that boy!

Congrats on the little one with his 1st kill.  Nothing like getting the young ones involved.
