Been having hell running hogs due to the heat and dogs over heating. Well this morning it changed. Caught a big Barr right off the bat and dogs went about 700yds and bayed again. Tried to hurry up and the barr almost got away. Got em under control and Got to the bay sent hooey in and got the hog flipped and noticed he was a barr too. He wasnt very fat but kinda tall but he still put up a fight. Dogs got a few pokes but nothing bad. Dogs left out huntin again while i was trying to get hogs out the woods. the 1st Barr hog stressed out and died so i got his head and left em there. It started to get hot and was calling dogs in and three of them were coming across the field and when they got half way to me my two gyps Diamond and June bayed and all dogs turned around and headed to ehm. I Got to them and they had a good boar hog bayed and sent hooey in and hog broke but didnt make it far. Had a good day. Land owner was Happy.    Hooey after a good day of work. Surprised he didnt get cut. |
