Well sir that's what the fella told me. So if im lien, im lieing behind him. Every pup i owned i had them started between 4 to 6 mnths old and by the time they were 8 mnths old id have them in the woods after i built there confidence way up in the pen! Never heard of a  pup starting at 8 weeks old till that guy told me!

Although like y'all say the more I look in to it the more I think about it ... 700 yrds could have been a hundred 6 pigs could have been 1. But I have an open mind here and I think anything is possible, now I have seen plenty of pups baying there buts off at 8 weeks I believe that. Although I don't think its impossible its not something alot of people are gonna see in there lifetime, by how the story has been told I believe the guy is lying to u about the dog to make u happy.

What happened and what was told to you was probably alittle different.  I'm sure if you've got puppies baying in a pen and I drive through a corn field and see hogs cross, I bet my puppy will run it and bay it just like he did in a pen.  Some places hogs are real easy to bay!

Puppies are puppies, crazier things have happened though I'm sure of it.

The best one I ever owned was amazing at 8 weeks and there after...I have had a yard full of good ones in the past but none started out like my first Yeller...he was 1/2 mtn cur and 1/2 brindle bmc who was a taylor bred dog...

if half of what he is telling you is true then he might have a good dog one day...if 3/4 is true then he might have a once in a lifetime dog in the makings...that is if he does the right things to help his pup along...
