Brian and I went to a new spot the other day, a place on the trinity river. Superman struck about 550 yards out in just a minute or so. The rest of the dogs joined in as we were driving closer. We were about 250 yards out, just on the edge of the woods, when we heard her squeal. Left the catch dogs in the truck and walked in. When we got there, they were just inside the palmettos. I get closer and I can see floyds back feet dragging the ground, and stew caught on the other side. I try to creep in, but the palmettos make too much noise and she drags the dogs off. Couldn't talk them into catching her again, so we send our two buddies who are with us, back for the Soco sisters. They get there, we send them in and they seal the deal.
Here are the Soco sisters. Two daughters out of my ol Soco dog. They are AB X Dogos, Chica on the left, Remi on the right. This was Chicas first hog to catch in the woods, and she is all about it. It was Remi's third hog. So we were extremely green in the catching department on this hunt.

Here is the sow, guess the weight! I have a ticket from the buyer
