I was finally able to pull ole Caskey out of retirement. Joining us was David Parker and Matt Bourgeois. After a few races it all came together.  We had a good race going with Caskey's three dogs, my Striker dog, and David's Delilah dog when they got a little too close to the black top. We drove around to cut them off.  Striker and Delilah wanted none of that and just hunted back to where we had cut them loose.

Before we could drive back around they had worked into a young pine thicket and had a walking bay going on. We unloaded the box to give them some back up because it is thick in there right now.  It was fun getting to the bay and even more fun trying to leg the hog. This hog was RANK, and he didn't make it easy on us. Jackie did a great job. The hog ran between two trees and knocked her off as soon as he saw me. She had him caught again before I could climb that skinny little pine tree.

We got him legged and Matt got to stick his first hog.

Me and Caskey

We had a good hunt with some great people. Caskey came straight off of nights and out of retirement with a bang.
