I run some running catch dogs and have thought about putting these on them. If you have experience with them please do tell

Like the idea of them but don't cover enough for me I am going with ausie style plates. On a lead in I will still run a vest.

I got one for my catchy bay dog. I dont like how it fits the dog. It rubs the top of the legs. It would be great covers the areas where he got cut, neck and chest area. But just rides on the legs and rubs them raw.

The construction is good, but it bothers both of the dogs I've put it on. I've got an AB/Bird cross and Cat/Ridgeback cross and they were both bothered by the strap that runs down the chest and between their legs. They would start hunting fine, but would both end up fighting it to get that strap out from between their legs. If I put it on too loose they would slip the center strap and the whole thing would turn sideways and if I put it too tight they would get a foot stuck in it trying to get it off. Maybe it's just how my dogs are built but it didn't work out for me. On a side note my hunting buddies also made fun and called it a dog bra.

I have one and love it. It does rub his legs a little but it has saved him alot, so some raw legs we can deal with!

i just got my collar with bib attached for my catchdog form hardcorehogdogs.com and i love it... i got it 5 inches wide and its tuff i dont know about running them without a vest though because i use one of the straps from the vest to hold the chinguard in place, without the strap running the d rings the chinguard tends to move either left or right ill post some pics for yall to see

You can get in touch with silverton boar dogs or centex finder holders.

I have one and really like it. But for the max protection on a short vest the Aussie style is the best . Jmo
