There are several factors that come in when dealing with cuts. Hydrotherapy works well cut heal is a good ointment to use vetrycin works well, wound kote works good for most small cuts. All depends on the severity of the wound, then just treat accordingly

Depends on the type of penicillin that you have. It's usually around 1ml per 10-20 lbs depending on the penicillin. I had a yells dog get banged up pretty good he's about 65-70lbs my vet buddy told me 7ml for 3 days then stop.

I get this purple stuff from the feed store for cattle that comes in a little purple bottle and you paint it on the cus with a little brush and it works great for me. I wouldnt give penicillin unless the dog is stoved up bretty bad. JMO

Is it skin deep or into the tissue?  On her throat...she cannot get to it.  I would spray and wound and cut antispetic and try to get some antibitoics from my vet.  Let it drain and feed the antibiotics.

Clean it out everyday with water and go to tractor supply n get vetercyn  or cut heal n spray it after you wash it out 5 to 7 days it'll be gone if its not proceed to do so till gone! the only reason to wash It out every day is cause the dog can't lick it! Good luck

Hydrotherapy is good, usually about 5-10 minutes of it a few times a day if you can.  It help promote blood supply and skin growth.  Granulex is good too it helps clean the wound and make new tissue grow, aerosol can stuff

If you use cut heal 2 or 3 times a day you will not need anything else...I very seldom use antibiotics...most cuts do not get infected if treated daily with cut heal...
