She's only 8 months old and has been on 5 hogs. She's catching neck or throat. Should I be worried?

Are they smaller pigs you have her on? I have a dog thatll catch the back of the neck on smaller ones but anything big he catches on the ear. The neck actually is not a bad spot to latch on neither. As long as they got control. Now as far as the throat im not sure. My dog has a habbit of going to the throat after we kill the hog. Not sure why but he does.

I got a cd from a high fence operation that caught on the back of the head at the neck. She got away with it cause they primarily caught meat hogs around 100 lbs. In the real world she was getting bucked off. Problem I saw is that a bite in that location on a good size hog doesn't control the head so the just bolt and she got knocked off. I cut a piece of 8" PVC and made an armadillo shell of sorts. Drilled holes in it and pulled the ears of a choate thru them. A couple loops with some duct tape to keep it on and let her go try to catch it. She couldn't clamp anything BUT the ear. Since that she's been good to go.

PUT A HOG IN A PEN  ABOUT 40 LBS  AND LET HER CATCH IT THEN TAKE HER OFF AND PUT HER ON THE EAR AND LET THE HOG UP THEN IF SHE LETS GO CATCH HER AND TAKE HER OUT OF THE BAY PEN AND LET HER THINK ABOUT IT A DAY OR SO THEN DO THE SAME THING THE NEXT DAY (IF IT WAS ME I WOULD  NOT TAKE HERE IN THE WOODS UNTIL SHE'S ON THE EAR 85% OF THE TIME  SHE COULD END UP GETTING ALL OF YOUR DOGS CUT DOWN OR ***** DONT LIKE TO SAY THAT AND THEN I WOULD HAVE AND OLD DOG WITH HER THAT KNOWS ITS JOB
